About Shadeh

Shadeh’s goal is to get you singing comfortably and confidently, whether Online or in in person (Ealing), beginner or not, no matter what your genre.

Singing Lessons
Shadeh’s favourite vocal foundation is the accent breathing method, which uses breath work to minimise tension and optimise airflow for healthy vocal closure. Simply put, we loosen up, we breathe effectively, engage with our bodies, and happy voices follow!
This will be the foundation of vocal lessons, and the rest is up to you. Shadeh can cater for a variety of genres and musical goals, whether you want to learn to sing for a special occasion, get through grade exams, workshop your own music, or anything else. Whatever you want to sing, we can get you there.

Music Theory
As well as singing, Shadeh loves music theory! She understands that it’s an area many struggle with, so she teaches in a way that furthers an understanding in the context of playing, rather than learning theoretical rules for the sake of it. Hopefully you’ll learn to love music theory as much as Shadeh does!

Lessons to support GCSE and A-level
A more intuitive understanding of music theory is especially useful for students doing ABRSM grades and want to move past grade 5, or studying GCSE, A-Level, IB Music, or other high school qualifications.

First Lesson
In the first lesson, we will discuss your musical goals and see how best Shadeh can cater to them. Each student is unique in their goals and learning style and Shadeh wants everyone’s learning experience to be enjoyable.
Shadeh’s primary areas for teaching are voice (classical, jazz, rock/contemporary), and music theory, but can also teach beginners piano or trombone.
Be equipped with a lesson/practice journal, pen and a smile!

Lessons for children and teens
Shadeh has primarily coached classes of children aged 4-10, and teenagers ages 13-18 in groups or individually. This has been for choirs, vocal groups, and individuals working towards performances.
If you are local to the Ealing area, she can travel to you to teach after school or on weekends, or remotely for teenagers if preferred.

Lessons for adults
Shadeh has also coached adult students in vocals and theory, and has a lot of fun doing so! She finds that a lot of adults are keen to learn something new but don’t kno...
