I am a friendly, relaxed cello teacher with many years of experience, and I particularly love teaching beginners and helping students feel confident and excited about learning the cello from the very start.

I have experience entering students for ABRSM exams and I'm happy teaching all genres of music, not just classical, tailoring lessons to suit each student’s interests and goals. My aim is to make lessons enjoyable, supportive, and motivating, whether you’re learning for fun or working towards an exam.

Alongside teaching, I am a freelance professional cellist, performing regularly in a wide range of ensembles and settings. My work includes weddings, bands, string trios and quartets, and other ensemble projects.
