About Sarah
Sarah is a highly experienced professional Viola player and Violin and Viola teacher.
In July 2023, she recently qualified as a Suzuki teacher to ESA Level 1 and is currently half way through her training for level 2.
As a teacher for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama's Junior String Training Programme alongside visiting several private and state schools as a Violin and Viola teacher, Sarah has a wealth of experience teaching in the primary age range and is passionate about making learning fun and positive at all times.
Her training to become a Suzuki Violin teacher has given Sarah the inspiration to start
her own Suzuki studio from her home in Gipsy Hill. Having learned Viola at the age of 6 with a Suzuki inspired teacher, she has come full circle to embrace the many positive outcomes that are reached through learning the Violin and Viola through this method.
The Suzuki method requires a high level of commitment from all parties including teacher, parent and child and it is a requirement that parents fully understand the philosophy and principles of the method before signing up for a programme of study.
