You will gain so much from each session, including technique on your instrument, knowledge of musical notation and aural skills -playing by ear and learning to improvise.
To enhance learning you will be taught repertoire suited to you but also learn about the many styles of music out there enabling you to get the most out of sessions and enjoy pieces you play.
On the piano you can learn a more classical approach or chords to accompany well-known songs of your own choice. You will broaden your technique with a firm grasp of music theory learnt in a practical as well as theoretical way- getting to know scales and chords quickly. In violin sessions too the diversity of the instrument can be explored with fun folk as well as Classical repertoire.
