I am Sam - a guitar and bass tutor in Manchester.

I have been a teacher and freelance session musician for 10 years, playing in bands at festivals such as Kendal Calling and venues such as The Deaf Institute. I have an A-level in Music and a degree in Popular Music Performance. I have also completed and can teach the Rockschool syllabus through to grade 8.

I offer electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass guitar lessons from beginner level to advanced. Lessons can be tailored to the student in order to accomplish their individual goals and music tastes. Lessons can include the absolute basics, music theory, instrument techniques, learning songs requested by the student, working through music grades and help with music homework from school. I also incorporate games into my lessons in order to focus on the fun aspect of learning a musical instrument.
