Sam is a drumming educator based in Leeds with years of experience behind the kit, performing a blend of music genres with a wide variety of live bands. Whether you're a beginner and want to learn the ropes, an experienced drummer looking to further your skills in a certain musical style, or somewhere in-between - Sam can help achieve you goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

BMus Popular Music Performance, first class honours undergraduate degree (Leeds Arts University).

QTS certified with formal teaching experience in institutions, as well as for group sessions and privately.

Over 10 years experience performing as part of original and function rock, pop, punk, ska/reggae, indie and folk ensembles.

Performed both nationally and internationally across Europe. Recent notable performances include Boomtown Festival, Solfest, and the Malostranská Beseda, Prague.

Well acquainted with the Trinity Rock and Pop drum syllabus and Rockschool drum grades. Better your drumming with my help whilst playing well-known songs from bands such as TOOL, Queen Of the Stone Age and Toto.

Previously tutored by active performing and recording industry professionals Jason Huxtable (Maraca2, Los Angeles Philharmonic) and Dave Benmore (The Itch).
