Rowan is an enthusiastic drum kit teacher, based in London, who loves to practice, teach, and play the drums, and would be delighted to share that joy with you. He wants to get past any student's technical challenges quickly, so they can get to playing what they really want.

One of the most enjoyable things about learning an instrument is seeing how quickly you can develop. In lessons, we'll always be looking to make progress, and celebrate every win. You'll find that this builds your confidence and is such fun. In your first lesson, we'll discuss what music you like, and what you're looking to get out of learning the drums. Then we'll get stuck right in, and make a start on your new journey of growth. Teaching mostly takes place online, however you could also arrange with Rowan to come to Arch79 Studios (London) for an in person lesson.

Rowan specializes in Jazz drumming, and also has experience in Rock, Funk and Musical Theatre. He graduated with a 1st Class Music Degree in 2023, and has since done some session work and teaches drum kit in schools. He has experience teaching both adults and children (10+), teaching both beginner and intermediate drummers.
