When I met Rosie, I needed help preparing for an audition. I hadn’t sung in decades and wasn’t sure whether I was aiming too high for my abilities. Rosie has been exceptional. Not only did I pass the audition, but she helped me find the confidence to pursue opportunities I’d never have attempted on my own. She is an outstanding teacher: challenging, supportive, encouraging, and incredibly generous with her experience and knowledge. She has pushed me technically, linguistically, and interpretatively. Most importantly, she helped me reconnect with my voice in a way I didn’t think was possible. Exciting adventures lie ahead, and I owe them in great part to her excellent, nurturing teaching.

I'm not technically Rosie's employer, I'm her PhD Supervisor at the Royal Northern College of Music, where I am the Head of Composition. I have also worked with Rosie in an artistic capacity.
