Qualifications: BA (Hons) WCMD, PGDip WCMD, QTS
About me:
I am an experienced brass teacher, composer, and classroom music tutor with over twenty years teaching experience. I offer lessons across the range of brass instruments from complete beginner up to grade 8, as well as music theory and classical music compositional lessons.
Teaching:
I have worked as a brass teacher for West Sussex music service, Suffolk Music Service and currently work for Bedford Music Hub where I have taught hundreds of pupils to play as well as been the lead ensemble director for several youth ensembles, including wind orchestras and jazz bands.
Performing
As a performing musician, I have worked as a cruise ship musician for both Princess Cruises and P&O cruises and I regularly play with gigging function and big bands as well as with local orchestras.
Composing
As a composer, I have several commissions to my name, notably, a tuba concerto that was commission by Nick Etheridge, and recordings under the Brass Classics label.
