Richard has been teaching privately for over 11 years and has gained a considerable amount of experience in that time. He has also taught at Newcastle College as a lecturer on the HE Access course.

His main passion in music is Jazz, however he also teaches many other genres such as Blues, Pop, Funk and Rock music. He is happy to teach any level of musician from complete beginner to someone who wants to expand their playing into different styles or to have a deeper knowledge of the style that they currently love to play.
