About RJ Meaney
Rich or "RJ" is an Audio Engineer, DJ, Label Manager, Marketer and Tutor with 10+ years’ experience. He is a graduate of the prestigious Abbey Road Institute (AdvDipMus), as well as Point Blank Music School (DipMus), The University of Leeds (MA), and The University of Durham (BA Hons). His music has been released on labels around the world, and he has performed live across Europe and The Americas.

Combining technical ability with artistic vision - he draws from his career as a performing artist across North America and Europe to bring an intimate knowledge of the dance-floor to any studio or educational setting. Whatever space he finds himself working - he brings a depth of creativity and experience with both analog and digital workflows.
Rich is the co-owner and manager of microminimal records - a collective with 19 residents across the globe. He is accredited as a producer, engineer or songwriter on over 100 published tracks, and continues to release music with a variety of labels around the world.
In 2022, he has performed as a DJ and with his live hardware show at top UK venues, including The Cause, Boat Live and The Lion and Lamb. His schedule for 2023 entails a North America tour, a headline show in Berlin, summer festivals and much more.
As a mix engineer, he has been offering tuition services to his clients for almost three years. Initially these began as feedback sessions, where he would delve into their respective Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) projects and provide bespoke advice and tuition as per their requirements.
These sessions were a great success and his past clients have gone onto release on digital and vinyl labels across the world, and to secure paid gigs at top venues. Consequently, Rich has put together a curriculum for structured online or in-person tuition.
