Currently based in East London, Rhys is an enthusiastic, engaging and devoted music tutor who is dedicated to developing the musical abilities of his students. He is committed to delivering an individual approach and fostering technical and theoretical understating along the way

Rhys has been playing piano since he was a child, progressing through school, eventually studying Music at Canterbury Christ Church University where he gained a BMus (Hons) 2:1 in 2015. During this time he tailored his studies towards becoming a well rounded piano tutor upon graduation. He studied a broad array of musical disciplines from analysis to performance, psychology to instrumental teaching and learning.
Upon graduating, Rhys returned home to Wales where he taught privately until the end of 2019. Now settled in London, he is excited to be expanding his student base and helping people to enjoy making music at the piano.
