About Rebecca

Rebecca is an enthusiastic music teacher who is based in Hull, East Yorkshire. Whether you want to advance through grades, or take up a new hobby for fun, she is always happy to teach any one of any age or ability. She has a very flexible approach to teaching, and is happy to work with you to find what suits you and (most importantly) enjoy it and have fun!

Rebecca's lessons focus on the students' own strengths and weaknesses. Rebecca will sit down with you in your first lesson and discuss your musical intentions as well as any goals you wish to achieve. She always works with her students towards their aims and goals whilst also building musicianship, confidence, technique and enjoyment! Rebecca will be happy to teach you whether you are an absolute beginner or an established musician looking for some advanced coaching.

Rebecca has been playing the flute since she was 4 years old. She achieved her grade 8 distinction in 2014 whilst taking her A Levels. Rebecca started singing lessons at sixth form college, achieving her grade 8 merit in 2015 just before going to the University of Hull to study music. Whilst at university, Rebecca played as part of a number of ensembles including the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, the Music Society's Wind Band, Orchestra and a range of projects directed by other students. Since graduating, Rebecca has been working in a comprehensive secondary and sixth form college teaching GCSE Music, A Level Music and BTEC qualifications. Rebecca also musically directs the Hull Musical Theatre Company and sings as part of a worship band at Hull Minster.

If you are interested in learning from Rebecca, drop her a message and she will be very happy to have a chat with you about booking your first lesson :)
