About Rachel
Are you looking for an experienced and enthusiastic music teacher? Rachel is currently offering Piano, Lever-harp, guitar, and Musical Theory lessons online.
Rachel is a kind and enthusiastic professional musician who loves sharing her skills and passion for music with others! She started playing piano as soon as she was tall enough to reach the keyboard, took up the harp and additional instruments as she grew older. Rachel began working as a jobbing musician during her teens, starting teaching as a part-time job. After graduating university she launched her business as a freelance performer and a teacher.
All ages and abilities are welcome, from absolute beginners, through to post-ABRSM Grade 8 advanced level. Lessons range from short 20 minute sessions for young children (age 3 and up), to 90 minute lessons for high-level performers. The majority of Rachels students take a 30 or 60 minute lesson weekly.
No two students lessons will look exactly alike, as no two students are the same! Everyone has their lessons tailor made for them, based on their goals, unique learning style, and interests. You can choose to pursue exams with the ABRSM or Trinity boards, or just learn for fun.
Rachel is currently available to online to students anywhere in the world!
Rachel's students have had great success in achieving their personal goals, including many students who have performed at ABRSM High-scorers concerts, and students who have gone on to pursue advanced musical studies at college and university. Most importantly, however, is that they had fun along the way - music should be fun, and everyone can learn!
