About Rachael Liddell
Hello and welcome to my teaching profile!
With over ten years of experience, I approach teaching holistically and aim to help my students develop a healthy technique and confidence in their instrument.
I have taught privately, in 1:1, group and choir settings and in a number of schools across Edinburgh and London. I regularly work with students of all ages in a variety of styles from classical and opera to musical theatre and folksong.
I have maintained a 100% pass rate on all of my student's vocal exams and have successfully prepared students for auditions who have gone on to study at college and undergraduate degree courses. I recently adjudicated for the Young Musician Rotary Competition Final in Dundee.

Outside of teaching, I am a professional opera singer and have previously performed with the Glyndebourne Festival, BBC Proms, Philharmonia Voices, Saffron Opera, and Edinburgh International Festival. I have performed notable roles with Dundee Repertory Theatre including productions of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution and Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information. I look forward to touring the premier of Sense & Sensibility the Musical this summer. I studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Edinburgh Napier University and Central Washington University.
