Portia is an exceptional performer vocalist, she has excellent creative and improvisational skills. She has been an invaluable colleague who has annually visited Falmouth University to deliver teaching and an inspirational performance to my voice/music students. She has consistently brought insight, humour, wisdom and knowledge to the sessions which have been relished by the students. Portia’s amazingly refreshing, holistic approach allows me to express my authentic self in song and truly release my voice without fear. Her, mind-bending instillation of new, positive beliefs, Portia initiates by osmosis, eradicates nerves and opens me up emotionally. Being aware of the influence my voice can have to ‘everything’ is overwhelming but that responsibility is transformed into an essential power, which she encourages to be honoured and shared. I do so now with such joy!
