I am a First-Class Music graduate from Durham University and a current Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) student in Music at the University of Cambridge. Through my tutoring, I offer personalised lessons designed to help students excel in instrumental technique, music theory, music scholarship preparation, GCSE or A Level exams.
I have been teaching private instrumental lessons for over 4 years and have loved seeing students progress from never touching the piano/trumpet to being able to play their favourite songs! I aim to make my lessons both fun and engaging, using tailor-made resources for each learner to encourage critical thinking and deepen understanding. In online sessions, I employ interactive tools to maintain attention and create a safe, supportive learning environment. Additionally, I teach study skills and revision techniques alongside the curriculum, ensuring students feel well-prepared and confident in exam settings. My primary goal is to see students enjoy the subject and feel proud of their progress!

With extensive experience in music education and performance, I have worked with children and young people of all ages in schools, holiday programs, and community projects. I currently teach as part of the Music Department at a leading secondary school, where I aim inspire students to develop their skills and love for music.
