About Phoebe
Phoebe is a professional, performing violinist with over 10 years teaching experience. She has a First Class degree in Violin Performance from Trinity College of Music (London) and has performed in most major UK concert halls, with orchestras and artists such as Britten Sinfonia, Alberts Band (Royal Albert Hall), Chameleon Arts Orchestra, Locrian Ensemble, Rufus Wainwright, Rick Wakeman, Abi Sampa, Dj Benji B, Thursford Christmas Spectacular, and luxury cruise lines.
Phoebe was formerly Head of Strings for Haringey Music Service and co-Director of 'Stringwise' holiday music courses, and has taught in numerous schools and community settings across London, Bedfordshire, Dubai and Uganda. She is incredibly passionate about music education for all, and currently teaches children and adults in violin and Viola - from beginner to Grade 8 / Diploma and beyond.
Phoebe is a member of the Royal Society of Musicians, the European String Teachers Association and Independent Society of Musicians. She is on the DBS update service and has trained as Deputy Safeguarding Lead. She is also a qualified Sound Therapist and Yoga Teacher.
