About Paul
Local musician offering Cello, Violin, Piano & Guitar lessons (also Music Theory, composition & GCSE / A level tuition); can drive to yours or welcome at mine.
I offer fun engaging tuition for all ages either at the comfort of your home or at mine. If you are after progression through graded exams I can offer you expert tuition or if you are just a casual learner I will fit my learning style to suit you and yours. If online tuition is more your forte I am fully set up with double monitors, graphics tablet and interactive whiteboard.
A little bit about myself
I graduated with a Bmus(hon) focus was performance, composition and arrangement. My tutor was Anna Shuttleworth. I’ve had master classes in Alexander technique. These courses would last three days at a time. I was very fortunate to meet world class performers during these events.
I’ve been teaching music for over 15 years inside and outside of schools. I’ve played with members of the CBSO and managed a professional quartet in Birmingham. I’ve performed in the Albert hall, festival hall and other major arenas around the country. I’ve toured Canada in my student days and supported people with disabilities using music therapy.
I’m friendly and dedicated. I love teaching and helping people progress. I currently tutor people of any age range (child to adult).
I'm available week days, weekends and also during the holidays.
