About Paolo
I’ve been playing guitar and bass professionally since 2003, building a career that combines live performance, teaching, and music production. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I offer lessons tailored to your goals.
My performance career includes playing with established acts like the Lightning Seeds and appearing on festival stages such as Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, as well as touring Europe and the US. Music I’ve performed on has been featured on UK and European radio, in national newspapers, blogs, and even the charts.
Since 2009, I’ve been teaching guitar and bass to students of all ages, both one-to-one and online, as well as in schools. I’ve also run my own recording studio in Camberwell since 2010, where I teach music production alongside instrumental lessons.
My lessons are flexible and designed to suit your musical interests and needs, whether it’s mastering your favourite song, improving technique, or diving into music production. Lessons take place in my Camberwell studio, equipped with vintage guitars and professional gear. In the first lesson, we’ll talk about your goals and musical preferences to create a personalized plan. My aim is to make learning practical, enjoyable, and aligned with your pace.
I teach from my studio, offering a welcoming and well equipped space for students to learn and explore their creativity. I'm also available for online lessons.
