About Osian

About Me

Hello, I’m Osian Clarke, a London-based singing teacher with a passion for helping students of all levels achieve their vocal goals. Whether you're a beginner, an experienced singer, or simply want to sing for fun, I offer tailored lessons to suit your needs. With training in both Musical Theatre and Classical Singing, I provide a well-rounded approach to vocal development.

I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of professionals from the West End and the Opera World, gaining invaluable insight into the professional music industry. This experience has enriched my teaching and allows me to guide students through their vocal journeys with a comprehensive, realistic perspective.

Training

I graduated in 2023 from the Royal Academy of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance and Opera Studies. In 2024, I completed a Master’s in Musical Theatre at the same institution. In addition, I hold the LRAM teaching qualification, awarded by the Royal Academy of Music.

Throughout my studies, I achieved numerous distinctions in vocal exams, including the ARSM (Distinction, 100%), Grade 8 Classical Singing ABRSM (Distinction), and Grade 8 Musical Theatre Singing (Distinction). I am also proficient in music theory and piano.

Lessons

I offer 45-60 minute singing lessons, where we will focus on strengthening your vocal technique. Each session begins with a warm-up, followed by technical exercises to improve vocal control. We will then apply these techniques to your repertoire, helping you gain confidence and refine your performance.

For more advanced students, I also offer 30-45 minute vocal and repertoire coaching sessions. In these lessons, we focus on one or two pieces of music, diving into characterisation and performance. I’ll guide you through the emotional and narrative elements of the song, ensuring that you can deliver a more authentic and compelling performance. These sessions are ideal for students preparing for auditions—whether for drama schools, conservatoires, amateur productions, or professional performances.

What I Can Offer

If you’re just starting out on your vocal journey, I can help you build confidence, develop solid vocal technique, and discover repertoire that suits your voice.
