About Olivia Hewitt-Jones
Olivia is an experienced singing teacher based in West London with lessons catering to all ages and abilities. Olivia is committed to making you, the student, feel good in lessons with an atmosphere free of judgement or expectation. Lessons can be tailored to each individual’s wants and needs. Olivia has experience teaching the LAMDA Musical Theatre syllabus, with all students achieving Merit or Distinction level in their exams.To gain the most from singing lessons with Olivia all that is required is a love of music and a willingness to learn!
A typical first lesson would consist of discussion to get to know one another and what you would like to achieve from your sessions. It is an opportunity for the student to see whether Olivia is the right teacher for them, as well as Olivia gaining understanding of how she can best help each individual. Lessons are tailored completely around each individual. More experienced singers may have specific repertoire or goals that they’d like to work on, whist other may require guidance as which songs or exercises would be best to develop their skills. There is no need to prepare anything prior to your first session, just bring yourself!
Olivia has experience teaching all age ranges and can create lessons accordingly. Lessons can take place in person or online, depending on your preference.
As well as teaching, Olivia is also a professional actress. She recently graduated Arts Educational School with a first class degree in Musical Theatre. At Arts Ed Olivia studied under top industry professionals and is now passionate about passing on her skills.
