About Nunziatina
Nunziatina Del Vecchio is an accomplished British - Italian cellist and devoted teacher. She began studying cello at a young age and later earned her undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester where she studied with Eduardo Vassallo and masters degree in cello performance from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig, Germany where she studied with Christian Giger.
As a performer, Nunziatina has appeared in chamber ensembles and orchestras throughout Germany and the UK, including City of Birmingham Symphony orchestra, Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Nunziatina has worked with students of all ages and specialises in Grade 5 and above.
Currently based in South West London, Nunziatina teaches both privately and with local music schools and has had major successes with her students winning places in the National Children’s Orchestra, and winning prizes at competitions such as Jüngend Musiziert across Europe.
