Hi I'm Nina!
I'm a Cardiff-based flautist and flute teacher, originally from the North East of England. I teach all abilities and levels, with a friendly and adaptable teaching style, and an SEND specialism. I'm happy to teach towards exams (ABRSM or Trinity) but also happy if you'd like to just learn and progress for fun and enjoyment! Lessons available for 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour.
About me:
I'm a Masters graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Music Performance (flute) - I play flute and piccolo, but I'm also happy to teach recorder. I play piano to a good standard for accompanying students in lessons. I also have an academic undergraduate music degree from Manchester University so I'm happy to support students with music theory or GCSE-level music too. I have multiple years of professional classroom experience, and I'm a qualified level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary SEND specialism). I hold an enhanced DBS.
