About Neil
Neil is a guitar, bass guitar, composition and music theory tutor based in Glasgow, teaching 1:1 lessons. He has experience teaching everyone from absolute beginners to advanced learners.
Neil is friendly and approachable and creates an encouraging and supportive environment for his students. He starts with a student’s needs, interests, and goals and takes a practical and methodical approach to developing their technical skills and creativity in an interesting and engaging way. Neil refines the way he conveys complex concepts to make them more accessible. Whatever your age or experience, lessons will be tailored to your needs. Adept with music notation software Sibelius and digital audio workstations including Logic Pro X, Reaper, and Pro Tools, he creates personalised learning materials including tab, notation, and backing tracks.
In your first lesson, Neil will have a quick chat with you to discuss your experience level, interests, and goals, to create your personalised lesson plans.
