About Nana Rizinni

With 20-year experience in the Brazilian music scene, Naná has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists such as Johnny Hooker, Jaloo, Bárbara Eugênia, Iara Rennó, Karina Buhr, Tiê, Paulo Miklos, Filipe Catto, Adriano Cintra, Ana Cañas, Banda Uó, As Mercenárias, and Belgian Duo Vive La Fete, among others.

Having traveled throughout Europe, the USA, and South America, Naná’s music journey has taken her to prestigious festivals including Rock’N’Rio (Rio de Janeiro), SXSW (Austin, Texas), and Primavera Sounds (Barcelona, Spain).

For the past 15 years, she has shared her musical knowledge through teaching, both in Brazil and London, using drumming books and curriculums such as Trinity College and Rockschool. Naná’s focus is on various essential components, including technique, repertoire, coordination, and embracing music vocabulary.

Located in the Manor House District (conveniently near Seven Sisters Station on the Victoria Line or Manor House Station on the Piccadilly Line), her studio provides an optimal learning environment equipped with two sets of excellent drum kits, quality cymbals, and a computer monitor for sheet music play-along.
