Judith has a BA Hons in Music from The University of Lancaster, in which she specialised in clarinet performance after achieving Grade 8 clarinet with the ABRSM. She is a qualified and experienced teacher, having been a Primary School Teacher for 12 years. She currently works at a Primary School as a SENDCo and Music Lead and she also works for County Music as a peripatetic woodwind and piano teacher at a high school. Judith has taught private music lessons for a number of years in piano, saxophone and clarinet and she currently teaches students of all ages.

A typical lesson with Judith is both fun yet structured and can be either exam-focused or student-centred if the purpose of lessons is just to enjoy playing and to make progress.

To get the most out of Judith's teaching, it’s recommended that lessons take place weekly or fortnightly for 1 hour, depending on your requirements. For younger students, 30 minutes weekly is the recommended lesson frequency and length.

A student will need to have their own instrument, reeds and accessories, unless it is piano lessons at Judith's home address, where a piano is available to use for lessons.
