I like to take the time to make sure the student has a solid foundation of understanding and build up their knowledge so that they develop into fantastic musicians. Having studied and performed music for many years now you are in good hands. I also like to make my lessons fun and enjoyable whilst being enriching.

Lessons (theory and singing) will be 60 mins and will be at the comfort of your own home. If you decide to have a conducting session you can choose between a 60 min basic session or a 90 min advance session.

I am a professional Countertenor singing both solo and in choirs across England and Europe for 10 years. I have been the Morden Choral Scholar (head scholar) for the past 4 years at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel Choir and have also been in Genesis Sixteen along with other well known choirs. I have been working for Rodolfus Choral Courses (previously known as Eton Choral Courses) for almost 4 years teaching students to sing well and running consort groups.

I studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire getting a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies First with Honours. This means I also have the important knowledge of music theory, having previously done grade 8 theory before studying there, I have a love of music theory and think it is a vital component in music making. Theory should coincide with any music making on your instrument.

As well as singing, I have a love of Conducting and think all musicians should have a basic knowledge of conducting to help with rehearsing and performing with any group of musicians. I am the Music Director of a professional choir ‘Beati Consort’ performing regularly across London some of the best Choral works.

On top of all that I also play the violin and piano.

Having had so many teachers to teach me so much knowledge, I have a great toolbox and understanding of how a lesson should be run and have well planned lessons to teach any students with a wide range of learning techniques. Everyone is different and it is very important to find the best way to teach at a personal level. It’s also always important to have fun with music as that is the whole point, to enjoy it.

I really look forward to having you as a student.
