Miranda is an experienced freelance trumpeter and brass teacher, based in Manchester. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with BMus (hons), MMus and PG Dip in trumpet performance, graduating with a First-Class Honors and Distinction.

She regularly performs with professional orchestras such as The Halle and has performed with Manchester Camerata, Northern Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Europe to name a few.

As well as performing, Miranda is passionate about brass teaching and has gained a wealth of experience. Despite playing the trumpet, Miranda teaches all brass instruments, piano music theory and GCSE music. Her approach to teaching is to create a bespoke learning experience for the student, catering towards your goals and needs. Exams are not essential but enjoyment in creating music is!
