About Milo
I am a recent Cambridge graduate with a first-class degree in Music. and I specialise in teaching piano, singing, and composition.
I have extensive experience teaching neurodiverse and complexly disabled learners, including a year working as a full-time special needs teacher. I also enjoy helping trans singers get the most out of their voices, having led a trans choir for two years. My teaching is informed by my love of music and a commitment to ensuring that every learner can thrive.
I have performance experience in a wide range of genres and settings:
- I have toured internationally with the Sidney Sussex Chapel Choir, singing on the first album dedicated to the works of Jheronimus Vinders.
- I have extensive jazz piano experience, notably opening for Kool & The Gang with the neo-soul/jazz collective DDS.
- Playing tenor sax with the brassed-up funk group Colonel Spanky’s Love Ensemble, I have played large festivals, such as Cambridge Pride and Strawberry Fair, weddings, and function gigs.
- I also have significant experience composing, accompanying, and arranging for a diverse range of musical groups, from opera societies to jazz ensembles.
