About Millie

Millie completed her training at the University of Bristol, specialising in Classical Singing. She has 2 years of teaching experience and has taught both Singing and Piano, as well as holding conducting masterclasses alongside other student conductors. Millie hopes to study a Vocal Masters in September 2026, but in the meantime works at the Royal Northern College of Music on their Junior Programme. She is known for her bubbly and approachable character, which bodes well with her love for the education of Young Musicians.

Millie has performed in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including Westminster Abbey and The Bridgewater Hall. She is an accomplished choral and ensemble singer, performing professionally during her time in Bristol and more recently in Manchester. As well as singing, Millie conducted a Chamber Choir in Bristol who performed with other well established ensembles such as Bristol Symphony Orchestra. From a young age Millie has played Piano. Notable achievements are accompanying various soloists and choirs, as well as performing solo in Bristol Cathedral and Chester Cathedral.

Millie is a classically-trained musician, but is able to teach across all abilities and genres, focusing primarily on areas of techniques that are useful for any genre of singing, such as vocal health, breathing, tone quality, warm-ups and overall musicality.

Lesson plans will be made accordingly after your first lesson, depending on your expectations and prior knowledge.
