About Me!
I am an experienced professional musician/actor and an engaging and enthusiastic teacher. For me, learning an instrument is about much more than just getting the grades & I aim to make my lessons fun, interesting & tailored to the student. Everyone has different tastes & ambitions, and I like to work together with students to make sure that they are getting as much out of their lessons as possible. If you have something that you'd like to focus on or some specific music you like to play/listen to, we can definitely build it into your lessons! In terms of training, I attended the Royal College of Music, before studying History at Bristol University and then completing my MA at ArtsEd & have performed in many professional settings including most recently in 'The Mozart Question' (The Barn Theatre, Cirencester) & 'Recognition' (Talawa Theatre Company). Outside of music, I am also a professional football coach & have a huge amount of experience working with adults & young people alike.
Lessons
I like to be as flexible as I can be to make sure that your lesson is tailored to you. So if you prefer to have your lesson in the comfort of your own home, or online, that's fine by me! Of course, I also provide a space for lessons if you prefer. The same goes for length and regularity of lessons - I am flexible to try and create a plan that fits your schedule.
