About Michele
I believe that music is passion and fun and, having experienced it myself, my effort will be to not make teaching rigid, academic or boring; on the contrary, it will be engaging and flexible with respect to personal goals and expectations. That said, I'll be the first to point out the importance of constant practice, attention to detail, commitment, and non-superficial understanding.
I understand the importance of the first lesson, as it will give students the opportunity to choose whether to work with me and, possibly, decide how to set up the path.
Possible topics of a lesson (50 minutes):
- Chords (open chords and barrè)
- Posture of the body and hands (how to avoid tension, fatigue and how to obtain a decisive sound)
- EDCAG System (Caged)
- How to read a tablature?
- Pentatonics
- Major and minor scales and relative modes
- Know the neck, identify the notes and train the ear to the different colors
- Alternate picking
- Guitar gym
- Advanced Chords
- Careful and complete study of a song (chosen together, by the pupil or by me if deemed necessary)
I remain available for any clarification by message!
