Michael is a qualified music teacher with 20 years experience both in the classroom and as an instrumental teacher across Greater Manchester. After graduating with a Music Degree and then a PGCE, he has embarked on a career of performing and teaching at high schools , a sixth form college and local music services around Manchester.

As a woodwind and piano/keyboard specialist, Michael has taught hundreds of young people and adults through to Grade 8 with a 100% pass rate both in Practical & Theory Exams with most achieving a Merit or higher.

Teaching can take place at Michael's home, at the student's house (within Manchester), or online, giving greater flexibility for all.

To begin you will need enthusiasm in abundance and an instrument to learn on. Michael is very happy to help with recommendations if you need any help in purchasing an instrument and looks forward to helping you along your musical journey.
