Meg is a Cambridge based singer/songwriter, dedicated singing teacher and creative arts facilitator.
With almost 3 decades of performing and recording experience across London, East Anglia and the South, they have shared stages with artists as varied as Joan Baez and Groove Armada; with bands, choirs, theatres and as a soloist, in styles spanning dance music vocals, blues, soul, folk, jazz, indie, rock, classical, musical theatre, avant-garde and pop.

They have taught singing to, and brought out creativity in people of ALL ABILITIES, AGES, GENDERS, BACKGROUNDS and VOCAL TYPES through:
• Individual coaching, both face-to-face and online using Zoom.
• Primary and secondary school settings
• Community adult learning programmes
• their own theatre group Mixed Bag Theatre

These are just some of the areas Meg can share their skills in:

• Overcoming acute shyness and/or poor self-esteem
• Building genuine deep down confidence
• Teaching/improving breathing, alignment, projection, connection and vibrato
• Identifying, widening and rethinking your vocal range
• Experimenting with vocal styles to find what makes YOUR voice unique to YOU
• Enjoying harmonies
• Finding your inner song-writer
• Playing with performance techniques

What Meg doesn't offer:

• Formal & stuffy lessons with piano and endless scales
• 'Absolute' pitch
• Complex musical theory
• Grade exam tuition
