Mark is wholly invested in his students, and treats each one with care and respect. Too often, I find teachers are impatient for students to reach particular milestones, or conversely, are happy to sit back and lack involvement; Mark brings a calm, but focussed energy to his teaching, allowing students to explore the learning process, and familiarise themselves with their instrument in their own time, in way that is easy for them to understand.
