About Mark M. (Online Drum Lessons)
I now have availability for face-to-face lessons again as well as online.
Mark has been teaching drums for 16 years, with a primary focus on delivering interactive, energetic lessons of the highest quality. Lessons are structured around the needs and interests of the student/parent with a focus on developing musicianship through repertoire. I currently teach students from the age of 5 to 71, working with complete beginners, hobbyists to advanced students aspiring for a career within the industry.
At present, Mark is Programme Leader and music lecturer for the University of the Highlands and Islands as well as a workshop facilitator within compulsory education. Furthermore, he is an examiner for the Rockschool Music Awards and has worked with music organisations including Drake Music Scotland, Beatroute Arts, Youth Music Initiative, Live Music Now and The Sound Lab, delivering drum tuition across a broad variety of levels.
Over the years he has been taught by many top drummers, including Dave Hassel, Bob Armstrong, Colin Woolway, Mark Guiliana and Steve White.
