Maria offers in person or virtual sessions for technical development, performance coaching and voice rehabilitation as well as preparing singers for graded exams, diplomas, recordings, tours, performances, voice-over work and auditions.
WHY WORK WITH A VOCAL COACH?
Singing Lessons boost confidence, improve technical skills, resolve voice problems, enabling you to express yourself freely, sing comfortably and develop the vocal stamina you need to enjoy practising, rehearsals and performances. Exploring your vocal possibilities will also bring out your authentic tone and with input from your vocal coach you can work on a piece, or your own material, to find the optimal way it can work for you.
WHAT CAN I LEARN & WORK ON?
Singers come with a range of vocal goals or issues they want to work on. Here are some examples:
-expanding vocal range, power, dynamics and agility
-improving breath control and vocal "support"
-optimising quality of tone through placement and resonance
-singing after a longer break and feeling "rusty"
-dealing with the aging voice
-preparing for graded exams or diploma
-audition preparations West End and stage schools/colleges and choirs.
-building stamina for tours and performance run
-address voice fatigue, pain, tension or hoarseness
-reducing stage fright
-working on a song/part/character for a performance or show
-transferring recorded material to live performance
