I enjoy the look of amazement as a new student discovers that they can play the piece that they’ve always wanted to master and the look in the eyes of a small child when getting a sticker for working hard.

I have taught piano, recorder and music theory since completing my music performance BA. From there I have continued enjoying performance and teaching, completing my MA in music performance in 2018. I have discovered alongside loving working with students of all ages; from the youngest beginner to adults discovering their inner musician and youngsters working at a high standard, I also enjoy researching music education and writing.
