Marcus is an outstanding guitar tutor and educator. He obviously knows his craft and has vast practical experience. Apart from these essential attributes he harbours within himself a profound sense of musicality (I feel this is the bedrock of an excellent teacher, which ever area of music one studies). He is incredibly observant and sensitive to my needs, me being a mature student with some musical background. Marcus is very sensitive to how I feel as a student, I have a demanding full time job and he matches the lesson to my level of energy. I'm progressing at a pace I really enjoy. Some months are intensive playing and some weeks we just talk about music theory in a particular song that I've been thinking about. Marcus is an excellent tutor and I'm really enjoying the journey towards being a guitarist!
