Marcus is a wonderful teacher, I've been taught by him for about 4 months now, and as a beginner his friendliness and passion for music has been really encouraging. He's helped me stay motivated and thanks to him I've improved a lot. He's also very considerate and accomodating with my schedule, and overall a lovely person to be around!

I've been taking guitar lessons with Marcus since January, and the experience has been brilliant. Marcus is a skilled and patient teacher who tailors each lesson to suit my learning pace and style. Marcus is an outstanding guitar tutor and educator. He obviously knows his craft and has vast practical experience. Apart from these essential attributes he harbours within himself a profound sense of musicality (I feel this is the bedrock of an excellent teacher, which ever area of music one studies). He is incredibly observant and sensitive to my needs, me being a mature student with some musical background. My guitar lessons are progressing well and I always feel encouraged and calmly motivated during the lessons. Thanks Marcus!

Marcus is very sensitive to how I feel as a student, I have a demanding full time job and he matches the lesson to my level of energy. I'm progressing at a pace I really enjoy. Some months are intensive playing and some weeks we just talk about music theory in a particular song that I've been thinking about. Marcus is an excellent tutor and I'm really enjoying the journey towards being a guitarist!

Marcus is an excellent effective music teacher and a mesmerising guitarist with a captivating range of inspiring skills. I was impressed with Marcus’s emphasis on the importance of having the right motivation and structure for learning, practice, and progress in between lessons. I like Marcus relaxed down-to-earth manner, dry sense of humour, and entertaining use of metaphor, which has helped me grasp a series of physical techniques for arm, hand and finger dexterity.
