About Edwin
Edwin has 30+ years of high level musical experience and 10+ years of teaching experience. Edwin holds a diploma from Trinity College LTCL in Violin (Masters) and is currently an active member of The University of Manchester Symphony Orchestra and the Manchester String Orchestra. Edwin believes that a musical education should be an exchange of musical ideas and concepts between music lovers rather than a teacher simply telling a student what to do. Edwin teaches a wide range of instruments but specialises in providing violin and piano tuition.

First lesson
The first lesson will be the great chance for students and tutors to get to know each other in person. A good relationship between tutors and students is always good to start with and good for long term learning. After discussing with students, Edwin can set up goals and explain the lesson plan.
Beginners
Beginner violinists will need to bring their instrument with them. Edwin can advice on the correct size if you are unsure. Otherwise, just keep calm, relax and enjoy the music!!!
