About Louise
Singing lessons tailored to you and your goals, for beginners to professionals. A chance to explore your voice in a non-judgemental, nurturing environment.
Who I teach:
I teach all levels of ability and experience, from people with zero singing experience up to working professionals, ages 10-110!
• BEGINNERS – If this is your first time booking singing lessons, well done for taking the first step and looking for a teacher! I’ll help you discover your authentic voice and build up your vocal/musical awareness and abilities.
• SINGING EXAMS – If you’re looking to take an exam in singing, I can advise on suitable exam boards, coach your repertoire and train your aural skills.
• CHORISTERS/CHORUS MEMBERS – I can coach you on your choir’s repertoire and help you bring it into a more comfortable place.
• PROFESSIONALS – Here for you if you’re struggling with vocal fatigue, something technical, or just need a pair of constructively critical ears.
What I teach:
There are so many genres to choose from in singing, and you don’t have to choose just one! Whilst I specialise in certain genres and styles, I am more than happy to help you explore others and help you navigate the stylistic and technical requirements of a variety of types of songs.

If you don’t see your preferred style above, drop me a message and let me know. My background in vocal pedagogy means that whilst I haven’t covered every style of singing under the sun, I’m in a good position to be able to research and understand new styles, and in turn set you on the path to your preferred style with healthy vocal production.
For breathing and healthy vocal production, I teach using a slightly adapted for of the Accent Method. For singers who are operatically inclined, I teach technique based on the traditional bel canto method. I also teach belting, first by developing the head voice and then bridging the gap between overt head and chest voice.
Through working on repertoire, I'll coach you on pronunciation (of whatever language is required!) and teach you to read sheet music and understand music theory. I also work on training a student's musical ear,...
