I started lessons with Lindsay Feb this year. From the start she listened to and observed me and she immediately picked up on the areas that needed some work, mainly articulation. Each lesson is well balance around my immediate needs versus longer term goals. She is always able to suggest effective approaches to the many technical challenges. I very much respect Lindsay’s musical ability and knowledge and her professionalism and I feel she treats me with respect and patience. Most important is that in the 7 months I have been with Lindsay I know that my playing and confidence have been transformed to a much higher level.

Lindsay has been an excellent choice of sax teacher for my lad - enthusiastic and thorough. Having the lessons online have also given us a lot more flexibility on coming up with a lesson time that works. Happy to recommend Lindsay to one and all.

It's not all about scales and three blind mice with Lindsay. As an older learner, Lindsay's lessons are smooth and educational. She'll guide you through the technical stuff with as much ease and patience as the fun stuff. I'm glad I found her as my teacher.

Lindsay has been brilliant - great, high energy lessons for my son who is a beginner. She has embraced the world of online music lessons perfectly and as a former amateur musician myself I'm so impressed with her ability to engage in this medium. My son has been really enjoying the lessons and I hope will continue to have loads of fun and get to the point where he can experience some of the more sociable side of playing music in bands etc. Thanks, Lindsay

My daughter had awesome lessons with Lindsay! Although our Zoë is a beginner, Lindsay still pushed her to improvise in playing. And now guess what after a few months, she is improvising and playing saxophone with her dad who is on piano. It's lovely to see how much my daughter has learned from Lindsay.

Lindsay is great; very organised and always happy to adapt the sessions to suite my learning style. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn/improve their sax playing.

Lindsay is an incredibly patient and encouraging teacher. She has taken the time to understand what I want to get out of learning the flute, and her good humour and friendly approach helps me feel relaxed in our lessons. She explains things really clearly (vital when having online lessons) and is always able to suggest different approaches to overcome hurdles, keeping me motivated even when I feel frustrated because I can't instantly master a new skill. I really look forward to our lessons, which are a hugely enjoyable part of my week.

Really enjoy music lessons with Lindsey. Finding the lessons engaging and interesting, and I am growing in confidence as each week passes. Music teaching has changed so much since I first started 50 or so years ago, and I am loving it!

Lindsay is fantastic. She is hugely talented and professional. I'm an adult beginner who's never played an instrument before but with LIndsay's patience and guidance I'm really starting to feel like I can play. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons and would highly recommend Lindsay.

Lindsay teaches flute, clarinet, saxophone and cornet to KS3, 4 and 5 pupils on an individual and small group basis. She works with each student to develop their instrumental skills, technique and musicality, exploring a range of different approaches tailored to the pupils' interests and ability. She is friendly, approachable and her enthusiasm for music is infectious.
