I offer singing lessons from my purpose built music room at my home in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. I am also happy to teach a student in their own home if for some reason they struggle to get to me. There is also the option of online lessons. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities. Many come purely for pleasure and for the health benefits that singing can give them. Others come because they like to take singing exams, sing in festivals or choirs or have ambitions of entering the classical music or musical theatre profession. I have a good rapport with students and many of my students have been with me for 10 years or more. Former students have gained places at the Royal Academy of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, ArtsEd, Laine Theatre Arts, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and others.

I was an award winning student at the Royal Northern College of Music and had a career that spanned much of Europe and the USA. Highlights have included a European Tour with Marc Minkowski and Les Musiciens du Louve appearing at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in the Aix-en-Provence baroque music festival in France. I also sang at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival in Germany and Holland Park Opera in London. On the cpo label I have recorded the role of ‘Bellante’ in Handel’s ‘Almira’ and the Naxos label ‘Countess Adele’ in Rossini’s ‘Le Comte Ory’. I have also broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Radio France and Radio Bremen and appeared in opera houses around the world including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
