With experience spanning 8 years, and teaching singing and music theory to ages 5-70, my main aim is to help you develop a healthy, strong singing technique whilst nurturing your love of music. I work hard to personalise lessons for each student to ensure the experience is as rewarding as possible. I am always reflecting on lessons to see how my students can improve and have more fun. I teach a variety of genres including pop, jazz, musical theatre and classical so anyone can get stuck into the music they really love.

I am a trained classical singer having graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with a First Class Bachelor of Arts degree, under the tuition of Geraldine Cassidy. I have a wide variety of performance experience including with The Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir, Buxton International Festival and numerous operas and solo recitals.

A typical first lesson would include getting to know each other so I can find out what you want to get out of your lessons. We would then look at some fun warm ups so I can learn about your voice and to establish what we can work on. Finally we will decide on some pieces to focus on and get started on your favourite right away!
