Experience
Piano
Len is a dedicated teacher of the piano and believes that music is for everyone and not just the few , and that especially during the kind of difficult period we have been experiencing it has a vital place as a healing agent and means of expression. He teaches all styles and aims to promote enjoyment and achievement.
He directs his lessons according to the skills and enthusiasms of each student, and enters students for exams where appropriate. He uses the ABRSM board with most students, offering both the Practical Exam and the new online Performance Exam, which has been very popular.
Theory
Len teaches Theory to all levels up to and including Grade 8. He believes that developing theoretical understanding promotes and assists the practical side of music, and can be enjoyable!

Len started his musical career as a Head of Music/Music Specialist in several Secondary Schools.
As a schoolteacher he was responsible for delivering classroom music to the whole school, and also rehearsing and performing with various choirs, instrumental groups and musical productions, e.g. Oliver, Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and Noye's Fludde.
