Hello!

I am a professional clarinettist born and raised in Burgess Hill, having studied my BMus at Trinity Laban in London and my MMus at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt. I held an orchestral position with the Philharmonisches Orchester Gießen in Germany and now, based in Burgess Hill, freelance professionally as an orchestral, chamber and solo clarinettist.

I am very passionate about bringing music to others, and want to support and inspire those who are either brand new to the clarinet, or wanting to revisit the instrument after a break - this means any age and any ability, beginners to advanced.

I have taught the clarinet for many years, privately as well as teaching in schools, music centres, courses and at Junior Trinity. I’d love to help you progress towards your own musical goals - whether that’s preparing for exams, supporting your playing in a local band or orchestra, or just simply encouraging you to play for fun!

I love the versatility of the clarinet, and having performed professionally in many different concert settings, I will tailor each lesson to you, and am happy to explore the classical, jazz, contemporary sides of the clarinet as I did with my own teachers.
