About Laertis
Hey there! I'm Laertis. A guitarist and singer-songwriter originally from Athens, with more than 10 years experience of teaching: Guitar (acoustic, electric) and Songwriting, privately, in music organisations and community centres.
I offer lessons to all levels, from beginner, intermediate or advanced. My methodology varies for each student. As a teacher I want to understand your interests, and then help you find your unique voice on the instrument.
Depending on your wants, I can adapt my teaching style to include as much or as little theory as you wish to learn.
I believe as a student of music myself, the key to an enjoyable and efficient development is to always combine theory with practical application, songs and improvisation.
I’m pleased to teach many different styles of guitar including: Jazz, Latin, Rock, Pop, Blues and Folk. Moreover, my lessons offer to students studying on: Music Theory, Guitar Grades, Sight Reading for beginners, Music Production Basics, Bass Guitar.
