About Krystl
Krystl began studying her first instrument, voice, at the age of 20 and excelled in her studies at both the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Bachelor of Music - Singing) and the Royal Academy of Music (Masters - Singing) being awarded distinctions for both qualifications. She now works as a professional soloist singing works ranging from joyous Christmas songs to Oratorios by the likes of Mozart, Haydn and Bach (etc.). Aside from singing, Krystl also works in TV/Film as an extra/actress.
Krystl is also currently learning her second instrument – piano.
Teaching
Krystl teaches singing to all ages and tailors the lesson to suit the individual student – whether singing is to build confidence, just for fun, or for graded exams. Krystl enjoys helping her students find their voice, and passing on her expertise of vocal technique.
Krystl’s skills are predominantly classical and this is the style in which she teaches. She covers the genres of Opera, Operetta, Oratorio, French Song, German Lieder, English Song, Musical Theatre (particularly the more classical works) and also a bit of pop.
