I am thoroughly enjoying my lessons with Kay. She is helping me to prepare for the diploma and in doing so, I am learning such a lot! Her lessons help me to pinpoint exact areas that need improving and so my playing is being finely-tuned. In just a few weeks, she has taught me how to adjust my embouchure for better very-high and very-low notes; how to take the dynamics to new levels; how to develop double-tonguing; how to play faster without notes cracking; how to interpret and communicate various styles of music; and much more! Her excellent teaching skills, her kind and encouraging manner, and her sense of humour make the lessons very enjoyable and highly motivating. I would highly recommend Kay. She is a fantastic teacher.

Kay has taught my daughter for the last two years as her piano teacher. Very patient , kind , helpful in teachings and plans lessons ahead of time .

As an adult beginner Kay has taught me both flute and piano. I now mainly concentrate on the flute and am amazed to be playing grade 6 pieces. Kay teaches good technique, is always encouraging and advises on the best way to practice for students short of time. At the end of each lesson I always feel I have learnt something new. I would definitely recommend Kay.
